Lennon’s transfer reveal makes for a potentially exciting few days

|

Quoted by the Glasgow Evening Times, Celtic manager Neil Lennon has said that he hopes for a couple of signings to be sorted in the coming days.

The most imminent thing on our minds at the moment, of course, is the Champions League qualifier we have this evening.

We are away at Nomme Kalju for a 6pm kick-off and with a 5-0 aggregate lead we should really be progressing into the next round.

Do that, and it looks as though Lennon has his eye on adding to his squad soon after.

He revealed:

“We will discuss that when we get back on Wednesday, it would be great if we could.

“We will try and get one or two in before the next tie if we qualify, which we should do, for next week,” he added.”

Certainly, we still need more additions and so reading this is positive for sure.

The squad is good but it could be better and with us hopefully in Europe and looking to defend our crowns we need it to be as strong as possible.

Lennon has plans to do that soon, though, and that is promising to hear.
