Celtic fans were reminded of a special occasion two years ago when a 3-2 victory in the Glasgow Derby at Ibrox ended Rangers slim hopes of “challenging” for the title after a tactical masterclass from Brendan Rodgers.
Despite seeing his side reduced to 10-men following the sending off of Jozo Simunovic, Rodgers brought Odsonne Edouard off the bench to partner Moussa Dembele in attack and the rest, as they say, is history, with the ยฃ9m man – who was on loan from PSG at the time – scoring the winning goal.
Rangers capitulated in the league following the result and, led by Graeme Murty, they ended up third in the behind Aberdeen.
Hoops fans will be hoping for a similar result in this weekend’s derby to shelve any doubt of Celtic throwing away their monumental lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
What is your predicted result for Sunday's derby?
Win
Draw
Loss
They took to Twitter in response to the club’s tweet to reminisce about the memorable game and in excitement for the upcoming fixture.

Celtic haven’t shown any signs of slipping up – despite the draw v Livingston – and will be favourites once again, especially having had a full week to recover and Rangers facing a tough test against Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League.
