As many Celtic fans are seemingly disillusioned by the clubs direction and how it has been run in the last eighteen months, fingers have been pointed in one direction and one direction only. The board.

This current Celtic board has lurched from one disaster to the next and many will also argue that the problems have stemmed  far beyond the ill fated ten in a row debacle.

North Curve Celtic is a project created by The Green Brigade who’s main objective is to give a voice to the Standing Section at Celtic Park. According to their website, they are a separate entity to The Green Brigade, but a collective voice for various fan groups within the vocal Standing Section of Celtic Park.

For the last few days now the North Curve Celtic twitter handle has tweeted out various messages to the fans against the Celtic board and they have now called on the Celtic support to join them in a mass demonstration to hold the board to account for their actions that have caused the club to find themselves in the abysmal condition they do at this present time.

Manager-less for 105 days. Rudderless for at least two seasons, the North Curve Celtic fan group are now staging a protest against the board and their negligent conduct which now sees the club with a skeletal like first team squad, a shambolic behind the scenes set up which the manager has now made public and the failure to prepare the team not only for the Champions League qualifiers, which Celtic are now no longer a part of, but also the league campaign.

It cannot be understated that this Celtic board has overseen one of the most successful periods in the clubs history but during that time the board have continually failed to capitalise on unlimited access to the Champions League riches with a shocking recruitment policy and, unforgivably, their failure to finish off their rivals across the water as they raised from the dead to end the fan’s dream of a record breaking ten in a row.

Not since the days of the Kelly’s and the Whyte’s have the Celtic fans been so disillusioned by a Parkhead board. And if history has taught us one thing. If anyone goes up against the Celtic fans, there tends to be only one winner.
