Kyogo Furuhashi has without doubt become the most affectionately welcomed player since the days of Henrik Larsson.
Now please don’t misinterpret that as me saying he is the best since Larsson because that is not what I’m saying.
He has been taken to our hearts since the day we witnessed him in a Celtic jersey.
His work ethic. His enthusiasm and his desire to work hard for the team is what have endeared him to the Hoops fans.
But he is also a very respectful man. He interacts with the fans at every opportunity and the kit man must be doing his nut as Kyogo always gives his match jersey away to fans after every match.
After todays 2-0 win, Celtic sit just one point off the top of the table, and even although he didn’t get on the scoresheet, Kyogo played more than his part after winning the penalty for the second goal.
Kyogo tweeted tonight, “Great performance of the team! Three more points! Thanks for your support! Let’s keep moving forward!

With Celtic now starting to find some serious form in the league, the season is shaping up to becoming one of the tightest in a long time but with Kyogo in the side, the Hoops fans will be more confident of not only challenging this season, but also winning the league.
