Celtic fans are fuming at the performance of Alan Muir at Ibrox this evening, having apparently made a number of refereeing blunders during Rangers’ 5-0 victory over Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup.

The visitors were first denied a penalty in the first few minutes of the game, before goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann was sent off for simply standing his ground when preparing to deal with a corner.

The Killie ‘keeper was judged to have elbowed Glen Kamara in the face but video footage shows there was minimal contact and that the red card was incredibly harsh.

To add insult to injury, the Gers got off with another one in a third key incident when Daniel Candeias escaped punishment for a hefty, studs up lunge on an opposition player.

The diabolical performance comes on the back of dramatic reports that Celtic are pushing for foreign referees to come in and officiating top Scottish matches.

Is it any wonder?

Supporters were left angry with another shambolic display, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts tonight…
