Celtic defender Efe Ambrose is planning to ruin Lionel Messi’s big celebrations at Parkhead tomorrow evening.

“It’s a great thing to become a father but I believe we are going to ruin his party in Glasgow” – Efe Ambrose

The Argentinian maestro became a father for the first time on Friday and is set to dedicate his next goal to his new-born son – courtesy of a dummy stuffed inside his own sock.

But Messi failed to net against Celta Vigo the following day and is therefore now targeting the Scottish champions.

“First of all I will tell Messi congratulations,” Ambrose told the Daily Record. “It’s a great thing to become a father but I believe we are going to ruin his party in Glasgow.

“Barcelona’s tradition is to keep possession of the ball no matter where they are playing,” he continued. “But the most important thing is we know how they play. We did well against them in Spain, and we will make them fight for their possession.”
