Quoted by the Scottish Sun, Ewan Henderson has said that he is looking to emulate Ryan Christie and the success he enjoyed on loan at Aberdeen with his loan at Ross County.

The Bhoys saw a busy transfer Deadline Day come to a close with a number of signings coming in and a few of the younger lads moving out on loan.

Indeed, Henderson was one of those with the player joining Ross County and he is looking to use Christie’s spell at Aberdeen as inspiration for his own springboard into the big-time.

Christie was one of our best players last season and has become a key part of our arsenal with the attacking options he provides going forwards.

Henderson will want to be a different player in his own right, of course, but it is clear he knows what the loan could do for him:

“I just need to get my head down and work hard. Ryan Christie went out on loan and did unbelievably well at Aberdeen, so it shows what can be achieved.”

He’s eyeing an exciting Celtic return, then, and we hope he can pull it off.
