Celtic defender Charlie Mulgrew is targeting completing a superb domestic double this weekend.

“We have been extremely focused on this” – Charlie Mulgrew

The Hoops face Hibernian in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park on Sunday afternoon looking to add to their second successive SPL title triumph.

A 4-0 weekend romp at Dundee United at the weekend left the Glasgow club a massive sixteen points clear of the rest of the division in the final table.

“To get the double would be great and obviously we have had the Champions League as well,” Mulgrew told Celtic View, reports Celtic’s official website. “Domestically, to win the league and the Scottish Cup – the two main trophies – would be brilliant. We have to beat Hibs first, though, and they will be up for it and we need to be ready for their threat.

“We have been extremely focused on this,” he added. “Everyone is pushing for places in the team and I am sure whoever the manager picks on the day will be well-motivated and will want to win the match.”
