Celtic fans appear keen on appointing Slaven Bilic as the club’s next manager, after he was reported to be keen on a move to Celtic Park this summer.

BBC Scotland claimed earlier this week that the former Croatia and West Ham boss was open to talks with the decision makers at the club, with our history and fanbase said to be appealing.

The 50-year-old is out of work after being sacked by Saudi club Al-Ittihad earlier this year having won just three of his fifteen games in charge.

Once a rising star on the European management scene, his stock may not be what it once was, but is his passion a perfect fit for a passionate club such as Celtic?

His appointment could be seen as something of a risk considering his recent failures and compared to other big names linked with the role such as Rafa Benitez he is certainly less appealing.

Some though appear in favour of a move for Bilic, with these fans taking to Twitter this week to share their thoughts…
