Journalist MUST know by now that Celtic gaffer, Ange Postecoglou, takes no nonsense at press conferences?
If they don’t then they had better learn fast because as all Celtic fans know, Ange doesn’t take too kindly to stupid questions and when presented with one?
We all know what happens next.
When asked by a journalist if he felt he got an easy ride at the AGM on Wednesday, Postecoglou was at his brilliant best as he answered, “Did I get an easy ride at the AGM?
“Well, if I get it wrong on Saturday, who do you reckon will get the easy ride?
“Like I said, we all have different AGMs and mine is every matchday. That’s where I’m held accountable and rightly so.
“It was an AGM.
“It was people who are passionate about their football club expressing their views and ultimately leaving the room still part of the Celtic family. Nothing extraordinary.
“I’m a football manager, mate. My AGM and my boardrooms are the training pitch and every matchday.
“The people in charge got some feedback the other day. I get that on a weekly basis.
“I think I was brought in to look ahead and bring in my own expertise and views about what we are trying to create.
“My first task was to look at what was here and what we needed to improve.
“My actions probably speak louder than any words. We are slowly building something here.”
Brilliant and to the point. The reason Celtic fans love their manager.
