After a brilliant result in Europe, many journalists and news sites were reporting on the great goal by Kyogo or the sublime pass by Jota or even the brilliant patient football that Celtic used to break down a stubborn Ferencvaros.
Many even said the Hoops qualification hopes in the Europa League were still on as they lift from the bottom of the group into third and if results go our way, we could be heading to an incredible second place show down with Real Betis.
Real good, positive and vibrant news about the club and players right?
Except for GIVEMESPORT. After an impressive European display what story did these guys decide to run with?
Celtic qualifying from the group? Postecoglou’s style FINALLY starting to shine through? Or even the Celtic board stumping up the cash for Jota?

These guys run a story about Celtic possibly/maybe selling Kyogo in January and how the fans may possibly/maybe/definitely could, but not sure protest about the phantom move and the best part of it?
Questioning Celtic’s ambition if they decided to accept an offer that has never arisen from a club that has never shown interest in our newly acquired player.
The site spoke to a journalist called Stewart Hodge (yeah, I’ve never heard of him either) when he made the following claim, “If they [Celtic] sell Kyogo Furuhashi after six months, then, I’m not saying it’s going to lead to protest because you never know, but it would be the most telling nail in the coffin of the lack of ambition that Celtic now have, if they were to do that.”
There is so much wrong in such a small quote, how this story was run is beyond me.
I’m assuming that this has come from the transfer rumour this site debunked weeks ago but it is clear this story was born out of Celtic’s success last night knowing it would get clicks.
Hopefully, I’m proved wrong.
