Celtic Word On The Tweet

‘Nail in the coffin’, ‘Kiss 10-in-a-row goodbye’ – Many Celtic fans want a major change at the club

Many Celtic fans feel Neil Lennon is not the right man to lead the club forward into next season after watching the team toil at Ibrox today.

Defeated 2-0 by Rangers, the Hoops were clearly second best to Steven Gerrard’s side, an unacceptable performance that has raised some massive first-team questions.

Lennon made a number of strange selection choices, bringing Oliver Burke and Mikey Johnston in from the cold to hand them rare starts.

We struggled to cope with the midfield battle too, fans frustrated that Callum McGregor and Scott Brown were consistently outnumbered.

Whether today is a determining factor in deciding Lennon’s future remains to be seen, but many have already had enough.

Fans are craving a big name, ambitious appointment that will continue looking to achieve the high standards that Brendan Rodgers set at the club before he left for Leicester City.

These supporters have taken to Twitter today to share their thoughts on Lennon’s chances of getting the job…
