Many Celtic fans feel Neil Lennon is not the right man to lead the club forward into next season after watching the team toil at Ibrox today.
Defeated 2-0 by Rangers, the Hoops were clearly second best to Steven Gerrard’s side, an unacceptable performance that has raised some massive first-team questions.
Lennon made a number of strange selection choices, bringing Oliver Burke and Mikey Johnston in from the cold to hand them rare starts.
We struggled to cope with the midfield battle too, fans frustrated that Callum McGregor and Scott Brown were consistently outnumbered.
Whether today is a determining factor in deciding Lennon’s future remains to be seen, but many have already had enough.
Fans are craving a big name, ambitious appointment that will continue looking to achieve the high standards that Brendan Rodgers set at the club before he left for Leicester City.
These supporters have taken to Twitter today to share their thoughts on Lennon’s chances of getting the job…

Without coming across as anti Lennon and overreacting, performances like this is why he cannot get the job full time. Yes we’ve got results but we’ve been horrendous since he came in. Can’t live with this. Huge respect to him, he’s a Celtic legend but it’s time for him to move on

Quicker we get a new gaffer in the better, Lennon would never have been considered for the job had Rodgers left at the end of the season. Lennon’s no even near that level
