Many Celtic fans weren’t happy with the performance of Mikael Lustig on Saturday, despite the team winning well against Hibernian at Celtic Park.
The Swedish international again looked vulnerable at right-back and played his part in both goals that Neil Lennon’s side scored to get back into the game.
Thankfully we were on the ball in an attacking sense, eventually winning 4-2, but for some the defensive frailties continue to be a problem.
Lustig has perhaps been the most criticised player at the club over the last 18 months, with plenty feeling that his time in a Celtic shirt is coming to an end.
The club failed to sign a right-back in the summer transfer window though, meaning Rodgers has had to rely on his experience rather than opt for Cristian Gamboa.
With the January transfer window looming, it’s become a priority area.
These fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on his status in the Hoops squad after Saturday’s match…
Far better football from Celtic. Looking very strong going forward again. We're still carry mikael lustig. Needs to be addressed in january

Mikael Lustig has been great for Celtic, some great performances, top banter and he’s clearly a big personality. The good games are infrequent now, and the errors more and more regular. A new RB is a must.
Sorry Mikael. ????♀️— Bryan (@BryanMcLaren) October 20, 2018
Taxi for Mikael Lustig, it's been waiting outside for 2 years.

How long before Rodgers realizes Lustig is not the answer. Unleash Gamboa ffs.

Great gutsy win against a good hibs team @BrookfieldNick
That's us scored more goals in last two games(10) than we did in previous seven spl games (7)
Quite incredibly really
Just get rid of lustig and job done
