Celtic fans appear to have had enough of attacker Oliver Burke after his poor performance against Steven Gerrard’s Rangers at Ibrox today.

On loan from West Bromwich Albion, the 22-year-old started his first match for over a month but failed to be effective up against the home side’s defence throughout the 90 minutes.

He even missed a golden opportunity in the second half that a forward of his reputation would be expected to bury.

Initially starting brightly at the club after joining in January, he has regressed badly over the last couple of months and is now barely valued at all by supporters, with some hoping he doesn’t feature at all in upcoming matches against Hearts.

Possessing plenty of pace, he doesn’t seem to have much else to his game at all, critically lacking positional awareness and a skilful touch in the final third.

These fans took to Twitter today to share their thoughts on his Sunday display…

  • Burke has wonderful speed
Lacking in basic skills like receiving and controlling the ball
His miss today came off the heel of his foot
His timing was terrible or nerves are bad
IMO He would be perfect as Rugby wing back
