New striker Odsonne Edouard would have absolutely no concerns about scoring against parent club Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League.

The nineteen-year-old French prospect arrived last week on a season-long loan and with the option on a permanent move.

Meanwhile, both Celtic and PSG already feature alongside Bayern Munich and Anderlecht in the group stage of the competition, with the first meeting of the sides at Celtic Park on Tuesday-week.

“I am here to score goals,” Edouard told BBC Scotland. “Of course, playing against PSG is something special for me. It’s my parent club.

“I know I will have to learn first and will have to develop and work hard at it, but as a competitor, I obviously want to play,” he added. “So my objective is to play every match. This is the driving force.”
