Chris Julliens comments came right out of the blue right? If you haven’t read them, the link to what he said is at the bottom of this article.

Talk about poor timing.

At a time when the team when just ready to lift the title and announcing the departures of legends Tom Rogic and Nir Bitton, Jullien decided to talk about his frustration at the lack of game time at Celtic Park.

Commenting on Vital Celtic‘s article these Celtic fans were not happy with the big Frenchman.

Sean McGinley said, “Timing poor. But I understand his frustration and see his point.

“His time may be up at Parkhead and there was no way CCV was being dropped, which is his side of the defence. Bitton class ??? …. that’s not the way I saw him.

“Seems to me some have forgotten what Julien was like prior to Old F*rm game and gave as much as anyone at that time.

“Give a bhoy a break ffs. But then I’m only human and not perfect, certainly haven’t a clue what went on behind the scenes, so how would I know.?

“However, I think it may be time for Chris to turn another page of his life, although I will be sorry to see him go.”

Denis Jamieson wasn’t happy either: “I mean he could’ve waited til the summer to make those kind of comments it certainly won’t help his cause any and with the way CCV & Starfelt were playing this season you couldn’t drop them could you ?

“No man is bigger than the club & Ange picks the team who won the League Julian must be the only person not happy at that club right now !!!!”

Frank Glenross put it simply: “Has Jullien just signed his transfer request?”

Martin H put up a good defence for, well, the defence: “Can’t drop successful central defence, just to give him a game, to much at stake, and Ange was proved correct, and Chris, has probably just talked himself into a transfer.”

John Trainor was very unhappy with Jullien: “Sorry but that a complete no no for me, see you later time for Jullien.

“Very Poor timing (if there was ever a good time) and time to get rid. If he showed he was good enough he would be playing. He wants to ask Ralston about it….”

Eamonn Little said: “Big man trying to work his ticket. No Biggie, hope Ange tells him to find another club.He has been floating about Lennoxtown in his flipflops.”

And finally, DhenBhoy was really unhappy with me: “What an utter sh*t stirring article, he hasn’t stated that at all.

He simply stated that he prefers a midfielder on the bench that can cover both those positions if required….

I did reply to DhenBhoy but, so far, I’ve yet to hear back.
