We’ll have to try and move on from last night as quickly as possible because quite simply it was not good enough what we put on at Fir Park.
I fully appreciate the fact that the Bhoys would have been a little tired after the cup final on Sunday but it was a competitive game and changes were made to try and negate any negative impacts.
Instead, though, most of the fringe players that got their chance failed to impress and I felt as though they looked very lethargic throughout.
For sure, we need to improve our away form in particular and it seems clear to me that the January window is going to be more important than most we have had in recent seasons.
Brendan had this to say, meanwhile, after the game:
????️ BR: “You can’t go through a season with 11 players so we made the changes. We have players injured too so it was what we had to do. It’s good for me to have a look and see the level that some of them are at.”

Certainly, this has caused plenty of reaction from Hoops on the social media site so let’s take a closer look at what has been said in response to Brendan:
Aye and hopefully you can now see that the level some of them are at, are nowhere near the levels required to be a Celtic player.

Gamboa Sinclair Hayes are not good enough Brown is dragging us down again he stifled McGregor and pushed Ntcham wide for no reason totally agree with Sutton our strikers need to do a lot better

if Christie takes the penalty that he won we get 3 points

every game I see Sinclair play good And I always say “this is the Sinclair I know” everytime I lie to myself cause he’s utter jobbies. I think a few troops will agree to this. need a right back and left winger desperately in this January window. HH

Genuinely don’t know what he brings to us anymore man. Pains me to say

Two away wins this season is not good enough Brendan has to change his attitude our second string is not good enough for away matches

Too many changes. Scored when motherwell were down to 10 men and only time we looked like scoring was when the ref chopped the goal off. Rodgers believes you win 90% of ur games if u dominate possession. Our stats are nowhere near that.

Understand using players but far too many changes at once. Couple at a time at most surely.

Agree we have to change it sometimes, but 7 at once is stretching it. Not for the first time either
