Odds on potential new manager slashed

The odds for the new Celtic Manager should current manager, Neil Lennon, be relieved of his post are in and there is a clear front runner.

After todays home draw against Livingston, there has been a major flurry of betting on who will become the next Celtic manager.

Speaking to The Scottish Sun, Betfair Spokesperson, Sam Rosbottom said: “In the past 24 hours we have seen a flurry of bets on Eddie Howe to become the next Celtic manager and have slashed his odds to 4/9.

“Following today’s draw, the pressure is on Neil Lennon and there is a big list of managers who could potentially take over.

“Aside from Howe, Martin O’Neil has also seen support from punters and he is currently the second favourite to take over at 7/2.”
