‘One of our worst signings in years’ – Many Celtic fans left unimpressed by one player after win

|

Celtic fans did not enjoy the performance of forward Oliver Burke during last night’s win away to St Mirren.

Neil Lennon’s side have taken another step towards an eighth league title in a row after goals from Timo Weah and a returning Ryan Christie delivered another three points.

After Sunday’s derby win and last night’s victory we are now just six points away from clinching the silverware.

There was little pressure on the trip to Paisley, with Lennon making a number of changes to his energy-sapped first-team from the weekend.

One of the players coming in was Oliver Burke, starting in attack ahead of Odsonne Edouard.

However, he hasn’t done his chances of more appearances much good at all, failing to have much impact on the game, fluffing chances and struggling to give the Hoops a focal point in the opposition half with poor touches and passing.

Many have now gone off the idea of signing him permanently if he commands a large fee this summer.

These supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his display…
