One time popular £3m midfielder tipped for summer move by major fan media account

As Celtic’s midfield under Ange Postecoglou goes from strength to strength, there will be additions to the side in the summer as the Australian gaffer prepares to take his side into the Champions League next season.

And he will.

With only four games to go and Celtic in a commanding six point league with a massive goal difference, a win next weekend against our city rivals will all but guarantee Champions League group stage football next season and for that, we require reinforcements.

But not only that, Ange will be charged with getting the fringe players out the club and one of those being tipped for a move is Ismaila Soro by popular fan media site, Celts Are Here.

Soro burst onto the scene during the COVID season and the fans were impressed with his energy and enthusiasm in the early stages of his career.

But his temperament and inability to judge a tackle quickly gained him a reputation for being a frustrating player and his early promise of popularity seemed borne of the fact that at the time of his breakthrough, the Celtic team were so bad, that any form of energy and enthusiasm was welcomed by fans.

It does seems that for all his endeavour, there is no future for him at the club as Ange has only saw fit to give Soro fleeting appearances in the Celtic first team.

At only 23 years old, would a loan move benefit Soro and the club more than a permanent move away?

If that was the case then he would maybe have featured more in the side than he has already done, which makes me think his future does lie elsewhere.
