Opinion: Look out for these first-team additions after Rodgers admission

|

Celtic are looking well on course for another treble this season now and it seems only the Scottish Cup is what will prove that bit difficult.

The title took a big swing towards us at the weekend and I do not expect us to throw that away now, then, so it’s down to how the cup draws go for us.

The future is looking good, though, and that extends down to the young players, too, with Brendan Rodgers revealing that he is always open to the youth coming in and featuring – if they are good enough.

Indeed, speaking to Celtic TV he admitted that age is no barrier and that if the likes of Karamoko Dembele and Armstrong Oko-Flex are good enough then they could be included.

He said:

“Age is no barrier for me, if they have the qualities. Having come through youth development myself, I was 15 years as a youth coach, so I understand it.

Keep an eye out for them both in the coming future, then, as both look exceptional young players even at their age already.
