Celtic are really starting to stretch their legs right now in both the league and cup and it is going to be hard for anyone to stop us.

In recent weeks there has been a real shakedown in the league and it’s left us a good amount of points clear with Aberdeen and Kilmarnock failing to stay the course.

Rangers will tell you that they’re still in the title race but, when you look at our recent performances compared to theirs, it really couldn’t be less like that.

It shouldn’t be too long before they drop away, then, but Davie Provan reckons that we’d take Alfredo Morelos up front if we had the chance.

Indeed, speaking in the Scottish Sun, the former Hoops man had this to say in light of the player’s recent red at Aberdeen:

“Football managers can’t afford principles. Put it this way, you can bet Brendan Rodgers would take Morelos tomorrow given the chance.”

He’s scored a lot of goals this season and probably would for us but would we take him? I think Brendan would have more sense to go after him to be honest.
