And 100% he should do.

As Celtic ran out comfortable 4-1 winners against St Johnstone yesterday, there was a kind of a mini inquest held on social media as to who was to blame for St JOhnstone’s only goal of the game.

For me, Reo Hatate was too soft on the ball and as he lost possession in the middle of the park, he left our central defence wide open to allow the St Johnstone player to get his shot away.

Have a watch:

Many fans feel that Joe Hart should have saved the shot but former Celtic keeper, Pat Bonner, was having none of it.

Speaking during commentary on BBC Sportsound, Bonner said, “It was a brilliant strike.

“He kind of came across the ball a little bit with his laces. And that may have caused a little bit of movement in the ball but I’m not going to say it was the goalkeeper’s fault anyway whatsoever.

“I’ve been in that situation again and shots of that quality can beat you you know?”

Bonner is spot on.

How many times have we seen Celtic do that to other goalkeepers in the SPFL over the years?

Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and say it was a great goal and move on.

Who are Celtic’s most capped players from these countries?
