Celtic have a big game in the league this weekend as we take on Aberdeen looking to put the pressure on Rangers and try and open up a gap in the title race.

The Gers quickly surrendered their lead last weekend in the top flight and now the Hoops are back on top, though it is by the very slenderest of advantages.

This weekend, then, we get a chance to try and open up the gap against a Dons side that has suffered with injuries this season and will be looking to try and get their season on track.

Neil Lennon will be looking to play as strong a side as possible, meanwhile, though it remains an issue where some of our key players are repeatedly spoken about as transfer targets.

Indeed, former Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton has claimed that the likes of Leicester City could well be looking at the midfielder at the moment.

He said via Football Insider:

“I know [Celtic are] trying to tie him down to a new deal and it doesn’t surprise me. I’m pretty sure the likes of Brendan Rodgers, people like this who know him and know how good he is are looking at him.”
