Celtic got back to winning ways this weekend just gone by hammering Ross County and sending a message to Rangers that this is going to be some race this season.

The Gers got very ahead of themselves, as per usual, after going top of the league before the international break but nothing is won in October and they’ll do well to remember that.

Indeed, the Hoops are back level on points with them and I expect us to put the foot on the gas, now, and also look to add players in the January window.

And, as quoted after speaking to Football Insider, Jackie McNamara has tipped David Turnbull to push for a move to the club in the window.

He said:

“He’s a good player, he had a good first season, promising talent. It was disappointing he didn’t get his move but he’ll be keen to get it done.”

We nearly signed him in the summer but for some struggles with injuries and it looks as though he could well be looking to reignite things in the next window.
