As quoted by the Sunday Post, Kirk Broadfoot has revealed how eager Greg Taylor was getting to join Celtic towards the end of the transfer window.
The young left-back eventually joined the Hoops on Deadline Day after the Bhoys took their time about identifying exactly who they wanted to come in and replace Kieran Tierney.
Indeed, eventually Taylor got the nod and it is apparent that he was getting impatient towards the end of the summer window, just wanting to get the move done.
Broadfoot revealed:
“He had been getting a bit frustrated towards the end of the window. He’s worked hard and it’s a chance for him to move up a level. So the best of luck to him.”
Certainly, it’s good to hear that Taylor was so keen to join and hopefully that will be reflected in his performances in the coming weeks and months.
He is the one I wanted to see come in and take over from KT so let’s just hope that he is capable of getting to that level.
It’ll be tough, but he’ll be keen to show he can do it.
