Celtic’s transfer business will, no doubt, be the hot topic come this January.

With Ange Postecoglou already making signings BEFORE the transfer window opens, the Celtic fans will be looking forward to the window opening to find out if there are any other players coming on to join the club.

Obviously, we know Yuki Kobayashi is joining us and, by all accounts, it does look like Alistair Johnston will be the second addition to the squad this winter but there is transfer news happening outwith the club that could impact Ange Postecoglou’s transfer budget.

Jeremie Frimpong has been attracting interest from EPL giants Manchester United.

The wing-back has impressed scouts and it does seem that he is being tipped to join Eric Ten Hag’s in January as the Dutchman looks to revive United as the dominant force in English football.

Although in the Dutch World Cup squad, Frimpong has yet to make an appearance at the tournament and Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg seems confident that Frimpong could join The Red Devils next year.

Celtic are tipped to land a cash windfall should Frimpong move on as the club are reported to have a sell-on clause [The Celtic Way] and whilst it is not known the exact percentage that Celtic would be due, The Sun did report back in August that the club would be in line for a ‘mega’ windfall when Barcelona were linked with him.

Who were Celtic most expensive transfer additions in these seasons?
