We probably have all seen the video of ex Celtic boss, Neil Lennon, having a few beers in a public beer garden. I will certainly not be posting any links to the video but we all understand what happened.

Lennon was effectively catfished whilst he enjoyed a legal day out in a public house. Drinking in England is allowed under current UK Government guidelines as restrictions are eased slowly across the country.

Lennon was filmed being under the influence whilst out with a group of friends and at the end of the clip the cretin filming shouts “See ya Neil, ya ginger c***!”

It has been revealed that Cumbrian Police are investigating the matter which you would think ‘Great!’. These people that think they can shout what they like without any ramifications should be dealt with by the police.

Think again. Here is a statement from the police force in question. A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “The matter is being investigated to ascertain whether any breach of Coronavirus regulations has taken place.

“It would be inappropriate to comment further whilst this investigation takes place.”

No investigation into the abuse he received but investigating whether or not COVID regulations were broken or not. Up and down the country there would have literally been thousands of people in the same condition but nothing would have been done about it.

Hell, even Glasgow’s own finest constabulary HELPED herd thousands of Rangers fans across the city to congregate in the centre of Glasgow. Where was the concern for COVID regulations that day?

Lennon is no stranger to abuse as it has been well documented the amount of torment he has endured during his 20 year stint as part of Celtic Football Club.
