The Scottish Cup semi final loss is bitterly disappointing. Absolutely no doubt about it.

And as the dust settles on the defeat, I am pretty sure the fans will look back at this season, when the title is wrapped up, and find this was an exceptional season considering where the team had come from.

But there were a couple of injury concerns for the Celtic manager which he was asked about on Premier Sports as Liel Abada and Daizen Maeda seemed to have been taken off as a precaution.

Postecoglou said of the result and the players, “Obviously disappointing. It was a tight game. Typical semi final. Both teams had chances, they took theirs and they ended up winning.

“Neither side really dominated for great periods.

“It’s the nature of the semi final.

“It’s not about being critical. You can be disappointed without being critical.”

“Liel just cramped up and Maeda just ran himself into the ground. Everyone else seems ok.”

With only five games to go in the league title run in and Celtic six points ahead with a huge goal difference, it seems as if the league title is all but done and dusted.

But will todays result have enough in it to change the momentum of the title race?

We certainly hope not and knowing Ange, he will keep the boys focused.
