As we return to the domestic scene this week after the international break, the Celtic fans are looking forward to the Ross County match at Celtic Park in the hope of catching a glimpse of some of the new summer signings.

With Giorgos Giakoumakis, Filipe Jota and Cameron Carter-Vickers all joining the Hoops in the latter stages of the transfer window, will Saturday prove to be the day the supporters get to witness their new hero’s in action?

One player that has already made his debut is Josip Juranovic.  The Croatian international was given a baptism of fire when he was thrown into the first Glasgow Derby at Ibrox out of position on the left, but by all accounts, he performed admirably.

However, he is being tipped to oust one of Celtic’s most in form and re-formed players this season, Anthony Ralston, according to Go Radio pundit Craig Moore.

Speaking on the football show, Moore said, “Ralston, for me, has been very, very good.

“But at the end of the day when the manager goes out and splashes the cash on a player in the same position, and that player is fit. Then more than likely he’s going to come in and play.

“And after this  international break Ralston has shown that he’s capable, but he’s gonna be behind Juranovic in my opinion.”

If Ralston is dropped it would be very harsh on the Scottish right back who has been praised and then some by not only his manager, but the fans and media alike.

It is just a matter of time before Juranovic does displace Ralston, but should it not be until he no longer merits his place in the team or should Postecoglou bite the bullet and start his own man on Saturday against The Staggies?
