Celtic fans don’t see a future at the club for Marvin Compper, despite the player only being at the club since the January transfer window.

The German made the switch from RB Leipzig but has made just one appearance so far in his Hoops career, against lower-league side Morton in the Scottish Cup.

Injuries certainly appear to have played their part in his lack of progression, although even when fit he’s very much not been fancied, making the substitutes bench just once beyond his one appearance.

Brendan Rodgers revealed again last week that he is out of action with a muscle injury, unable to fill in for the suspended Jozo Simunovic for tonight’s UEFA Champions League qualifier after his suspension.

It’s been one of the more confusing transfers at Celtic in recent times, especially in an era that the club aren’t making big mistakes in the market.

Fans certainly appear to be losing patience with the player, with 90% of respondents to a poll we published earlier this week believing that he doesn’t have a future at the club.

Will we ever see him get a regular game in Rodgers’ starting eleven?

You can see the full results of our poll below…
