It seems the Josip Juranovic transfer merry-go-round is continuing as Sky Sports journalist Gianluca di Marzio opens up another rumour regarding Celtic’s right back.

In his report in Gianluca di Marzio.com, the Italian journalist has claimed that Torino have begun preliminary talks with Celtic about a possible transfer in January.

Not only that, di Marzio also claims that a number of Italian clubs have asked about the Croatian so it does seem that the transfer interest has expanded from the usual rumours of teams from La Liga and the English Premier League.

Juranovic has been a stand-out at this year’s World Cup after eliminating Brazil in the quarter-final stage.

But he, and his national side, finally met his match in Lionel Messi’s Argentina as the South Americans romped to a 3-0 win last night.

With Croatia’s elimination from the tourament, that now paves the way for Juranovic to either focus on playing for Celtic or engineer his move from Paradise.

And it’s the latter that seems more plausible at this stage.

The Croatian had stated that he has told his agents not to send him any transfer updates on potential suitors whilst he focused on the World Cup [The Sun], and now that it’s over, I think it’s fair to a say that January is going to be a busy one for him.

And his agent.

Who are Celtic’s most capped players from these countries?
