According to the Express, Arsenal could look to offer Carl Jenkinson as part of a deal that would see Kieran Tierney head to the Emirates this summer.
The left-back is clearly a wanted man in this window and that is perhaps no surprise given the obvious quality and potential to get even better that he has.
Jenkinson, meanwhile, is primarily a right-back but can also cover on the left-hand side, and would at least address that problem area we’ve got on the right thanks to recent exits.
Indeed, the report refers to the idea that Neil Lennon is a fan of the Premier League man and so perhaps Arsenal are looking to tempt him into letting Tierney go by offering a player in exchange as part of any deal.
Even so, we’d surely still like to keep Tierney and try and get the right-back in as well if that is who Lennon wants.
Whether Arsenal will go for that, though, remains to be seen.
