With the amount of speculation hitting the headlines concerning Celtic’s transfer incomings and outgoings, it seems the Celtic fans can expect some kind of announcement or activity in the next 48 hours according to The Daily Record.

With the Hoops casting their radar far and wide as they search for reinforcements so far the names exciting the fans are nineteen year old Brazilian Yan Couto,  French striker Thomas Henry, Croatian internationalist Josip Juranovic and Juranovic’s compatriot Kristjan Lovric, the Celtic fans are waiting with baited breath to see which of these stars are set to make their way to Paradise.

According to the Daily Record the next 48 hours will determine whether or not Yan Couto will join the Hoops but the Parkhead club have not completely given up on Juranovic.

Ange Postecoglou has always been adamant that behind the scenes people are working hard to get deals over the line, “But what I like and what can happen in the reality of that is different.

“But we’re working awfully hard, I guarantee you. Not a moment goes past, off the field the whole club’s working hard to make sure we can do it.

“But I’ve just got to temper that by saying we’ve done really well with the ones we’ve brought in so far.

“They’ve added something to this football club. I want to resist bringing players in just for the sake of it.

“Part of the issue is mine, I’m selective with the players I want to bring in.  But I’m certainly pushing to get bodies in.”

Postecoglou has also always been consistent that an announcement will be made in the next week and as we approach the weekend, the Hoops fans will be looking on with interest to see who the next Celtic recruit will be.
