The long-running saga of Celtic finding a striker appears to be over as South Korean media outlet Naver reveals that the Hoops are set to announce the signing of striker Oh Hyeon-gyu.

The now former Suwon player has been the subject of much speculation for the past couple of weeks and whilst Celtic sort out what the future holds for current striker Giorgos Giakoumakis, Ange Postecoglou has wasted no time at all in getting in his replacement.

Naver broke the news at 10am Korean time (1am this morning) with the details of the deal.

A €3m fee has been paid for the striker and his salary is believed to range from £460k-£535k per year which is between £8k to £10k per week.

The 6 foot 1  striker has one full international cap and at just 21 years old, Ange cleary sees a player that has the potential to develop into a very good striker.

In my opinion, this confirms that the future of Giorgos Giakoumakis is no longer in doubt.

Many fans would have been hopeful that the club may have been able to hang onto the striker, and from what I am about to reveal, it seems that the Greek forward may have burned his bridges with Ange Postecoglou.

Who are Celtic’s most capped players from these countries?
