According to the Scottish Sun, Celtic could well be open to moving away from David Turnbull as a target this summer window.
The Bhoys will be looking to add some quality this summer and probably bring the average age of the squad down a little bit – meaning Turnbull could be an exciting arrival.
However, the report suggests that the Bhoys will not get involved in a bidding war over the player and that they do have other alternative targets that they are considering.
Certainly, Turnbull would be a decent signing and one for the future but he is not the be all and end all and if the Hoops don’t want to pay over the odds – which is fair enough – we’ll be looking elsewhere.
Who those other targets might be, though, remains to be seen as the summer window really starts to kick into gear in the coming weeks for us.
