According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are closing in on signing Kieran Tierney now, having restructured the offer they had on offer for the left-back.
This has rumbled on all summer and it has been looking close and then far off and then back on again, so until it goes through we shouldn’t predict anything just yet.
However, reports are rife that it is close now and that is going to be a shame for us given the obvious talent that Tierney brings to the side.
The left-back is going to prove hard to replace and I don’t envy whoever is going to be handed that task for the coming season but it is perhaps no surprise that this is happening.
KT has the talent to play at the very highest level and Arsenal can offer much of that – though they aren’t in the Champions League for next season.
