Celtic have one more league engagement before the latest international break comes into play and they’ll be looking to beat Livingston on Sunday afternoon to go out on a high.

It’s been another decent period of matches for the Bhoys overall, but the league race is so tight at the moment and we simply have to keep winning – especially after the draw with Hibernian last time out.

It remains to be seen, too, if the league is this tight in January but if it is you would hope that the Hoops would look to spend in the window.

Whether Lawrence Shankland arrives then, though, remains to be seen with him putting a bit of a timeline on him leaving Dundee United – with any exit coming after he helps them get promoted, he hopes.

The Daily Record has identified him as a potential Celtic target with us scouting him and they have also quoted the striker as having this to say about a departure:

“If and when I do leave, I want United to be in the Premiership. That was part of my objective when I came here.”
