As the rumbling goes on about who exactly the next Celtic manager will be many names have entered the fray.  From online rumours, to bookies favourites to ex professional players pushing their own opinion to who the new man will be, no one can say for absolute certainty, who will be the new man in the Paradise hot seat.

As things stand just now at Parkhead, Assistant Manager John Kennedy has the job in an interim basis with the remit of looking after team affairs until at least the end of the season. With only eight games left, including tow Glasgow Derbies, the Celtic fans will be looking forward to seeing the back of this disastrous campaign and onto the next with a new man at the helm.

Pundit/reporter, Mark Guidi, made a startling revelation on last nights Clyde 1 Superscoreboard where he claimed that if he had a free he would place it squarely on Scotland boss, Steve Clarke, to become the next Hoops gaffer “If you offered me a free bet right now, for the next time that means I sell to be, I go for Steve Clark.

Who should be the next Celtic Manager?

STEVE CLARKE

RAFA BENITEZ

EDDIE HOWE

NEIL LENNON

I have to say it and I don’t like saying this, I’ve got absolutely nothing concrete to back that up but there’s something, just one or two wee snippets stuff that I’ve heard, but nothing major, but if you did put me on the spot right now, I think Steve Clark would be the next manager.”

Now I’m not sure how this would go down with the Celtic fans, but Guidi seems to have some insider knowledge that a move may be imminent for the Scotland boss.
