Celtic are being linked with a move for Bournemouth attacker Jordon Ibe on loan and if they want to sign him they will have to pay his wages in full, Football Insider is reporting.

The Hoops have had an okay window but we head into this final week of business still needing to add players to the squad.

Indeed, we need options at full-back as well but another attacking option might be ideal and it seems as though Ibe is one that we are looking at.

However, if we want to complete any deal with the Cherries, the Premier League side has apparently said that we will have to pay his wages 100%, and that is no small fee you’ll not be surprised to hear.

He’s on £40k a week at the South Coast club and, whichever way you dress it, that is a lot of money.

It’s something for the Bhoys to mull over, then, before the deadline.

    • That’s for The Cherries to know and you to find out. if Celtic want Ibe (providing he actually wants to play in Scotland bearing in mind he turned down Newcastle in the EPL because he wanted to stay in the south of England and fight for his place at AFCB) then you will have to pay his wages. IMO you won’t and he will not won’t to. UTC
