Celtic fans appear to be worried about facing a significant title challenge this season after a particularly poor start to league action so far this term.
After six matches, the Hoops are currently in sixth position, six points behind league leaders Hearts who remain undefeated.
It should be noted though that only one point separates our current place in the Scottish Premiership and second position.
Having won only half our matches, there’s definitely concern creeping into the support about our performances even in the wake of Wednesday night’s win away to St Johnstone in the League Cup.
It doesn’t get much easier this weekend either, hosting Derek McInnes’ Aberdeen tomorrow, who again finished second in the top-flight last term.
It’s a must-win match and failure to pick up three points will continue to pile pressure on the Hoops squad.
Perhaps surprisingly, 57% of respondents to a poll we published in the wake of last weekend’s loss to Kilmarnock are actually worried about our chances of winning eight-in-a-row.
Are we set for the closest title race in a number of years?
