Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham has been criticised for his performances over the last few months and it appears supporters are looking for manager Brendan Rodgers to seek an alternative option.
Everyone knows the Frenchman is a stand-out on his day.
Sadly though those days have been few and far between this term, with his last real outstanding performance coming in the 1-0 victory over Rangers at Celtic Park.
In European action he’s especially disappointed and fans are now calling on one of the summer’s bargain arrivals, Youssouf Mulumbu, to be given a chance to shine in the starting eleven.
The 31-year-old has played just twice since arriving on a free transfer but has caught the eye of many, especially in the defeat to RB Salzburg last week.
Giving him a run in the team ahead of Ntcham may not only give the team a performance boost in the short-term but also light a fire under Ntcham to up his game and hit the heights we know he can reach.
A massive 74% of respondents to a poll we published earlier this week believe it’s time Rodgers bench Ntcham for the former West Bromwich Albion man.
