Celtic lost last night in the UEFA Europa League against Red Bull Leipzig – leaving us with some work to do in the group.
Away from home, it was always going to be tough and so it proved against a handy Bundesliga side.
We cannot dwell for too long, though, with the games coming thick and fast and next up is the BetfredCup semi-final this weekend.
Ahead of the game, then, Brendan Rodgers has been speaking to the media and he delivered this update concerning three of our players:
????️ BR on injuries: "@SimunovicJozo and @Cris_GamboaCR will go for scans today so we will get a better assessment of them. We're hopeful @Tom_Rogic will be ready for Sunday." #BetfredCup

Jozo Simunovic and Cristian Gamboa are set for scans, then, ahead of the weekend but it’s surely unlikely they are going to play.
Meanwhile, Rogic might well feature and that would be a big boost given his big-game mentality.
It’s a chance for us to get closer to more domestic glory and I would expect that whoever plays will be right up for it.
