Brendan Rodgers again praised Celtic’s character after rescuing a late draw at Motherwell.

The visitors appeared set to finally surrender their long unbeaten domestic run until substitute Scott Sinclair equalised from an 88th minute penalty, thus taking them to now 66 games undefeated.

“Tonight, again we were asked the question,” Rodgers reacted to BBC Scotland. “We made some changes, put risk into the game in taking a full-back off and putting on an extra attacker.

“But the players keep the composure, and eventually get the breakthrough,” he added. “I’m so proud of them yet again, they’re in a really testing run of games, physically and mentally, but they keep finding the answers.”
