Manager Brendan Rodgers says there is plenty more to follow from in-form Celtic winger James Forrest.

The 26-year-old moved into double figures with two more goals against Motherwell at the weekend. That was despite only being introduced into the action midway through the second-half.

“He is a goal threat – inside of his left foot, outside of his right, two brilliant finishes,” Rodgers told BBC Scotland. “And, like I say, he is high in confidence and I’m delighted to see it because he is a big talent and still so young, so much ahead of him.

“For me, he has been brilliant,” he added. “It has been a joy to see him grow and develop in my time here.”
