Celtic have been impressing in recent weeks. In truth, they’ve been impressing for a few years now, and Brendan Rodgers, it seems, is only getting started.

It would be easy for Rodgers and his squad to rest upon their laurels and relax after bagging their seventh consecutive domestic trophy, but alas, the Hoops are doing everything but taking it easy.

Speaking ahead of Celtic’s tie with Motherwell, Rodgers has been discussing his team’s ambitions, and it’s evident that he’s only getting started.

“We’re always hungry for more. It’s a testament to the players who want to learn more all the time”, he said.

Rodgers also noted that there is “so much more we want to achieve”.

Evidently, despite all of his success at the helm, Rodgers isn’t taking anything for granted, and that’s brilliant news for Celtic and the Parkhead faithful.

We want to keep on winning, and so do the players. No number of trophies is ever going to stop them from pushing for more, it seems.

The first step for us is reclaiming our crown at the top of the table, and so we need to win against Motherwell and then we need to secure three points in our game in hand.
