Rodgers signs new deal

Brendan Rodgers has been rewarded for leading Celtic to a sixth straight league title by signing a new four-year deal.

The Hoops still remain unbeaten in the Scottish Premiership this season while winning all but three of their thirty-one games.

The Northern Irishman and former Liverpool and Swansea City boss previously signed a twelve-month rolling deal with the club in May.

But he now stays at Celtic Park until 2021, and could yet complete a domestic treble in his debut season after also winning the League Cup.
