As quoted by the club’s official website, Brendan Rodgers has said that this season the Bhoys have returned to training fitter than ever before under his reign.
You have to say that we’ve looked sharp under Brendan throughout his stay here and our football, at its best, if free-flowing, high-intensity, and hard to stop.
Certainly, it’s a joy to watch when it’s all going off on all cylinders and it looks as though the players are ready to get straight up to speed once things kick off next month.
Brendan said:
“The players had nearly four weeks which is very important. When you play the number of games that we play it’s absolutely critical you come out the battle and have the rest. The players have done that, come back and this is the fittest they’ve come back.
The Verdict
The players are already on the way to being raring to go this coming season by the looks of things.
We’ve seen in previous years sometimes we can be a bit slow to start with early European ties so hopefully Brendan and the Bhoys can use their hard work this summer and immediately get winning.
