Same performance. Same result. Same old story but it needs brought to an end

And so another Sunday, another home league match, another two points dropped.  The malaise that has set in at Celtic Park now is so alarming that the board not acting now is not an act of faith, it is damn negligent.

Lennon continually sticks with players who are underperforming and the cannot get a song out of them.  The very definition of madness is repeating the same process over and over again but expecting  to get a different result.  It’s not happening for Lennon and it is not happening for the board.

Looking at the stats of this game, you could argue that it was just one of those games. We were unlucky not get the three points, just an off day in front of goal, but if you watched the game you would have seen it was the same turgid, slow football that has been come apparent this season. Lack of ideas, no originality and the persistence of trying to force the ball through the middle to Edouard was so frustrating as the St Johnstone defence snuffed out every attack.

The continuing of playing with one striker at home against teams like St Johnstone tells you that Lennon is now not setting up to win. He’s setting up not to lose.  Once you go down that road, you are instilling a lack of confidence in your players.  Mistakes are more likely to happen as the fear of losing overtakes the will to win.

Change has to happen and happen soon because the with every passing game, the league slips further and further away.
